ROGUES GOLF TRIP TO THE BRISTOL.

IT SEEMS LIKE WE ARE DOOMED TO PLAY HERE, BUT IT IS NOW ARRANGED FOR A FORTNIGHT TIME. IF IT HAPPENS, I WILL GIVE THE DETAILS AT THAT TIME.BIG DAVE GREEN ( A GOOD MATE OF OURS) WAS GOING TO POSTPONE HIS RETURN TO TEXAS USA, TO PLAY IN THIS MATCH, I BET HE`S GLAD HE CHANGED HIS MIND AND RETURNED TO 70 DEGREES IN THE STATES !!  WE ALL MISS YOU GREENER.

Well we managed to play this "doomed venue" at last, and we picked a glorious day for it. There were some very high scores posted by Mr Brian Chapple (38) and a guest player Dorian (a friend of Mikes) who also scored 38 points. There is always a bandit hidding in the pack, and this weeks badit scored a high score of 36 ( his initials are M.S.) !!! enough said. I shall now pose a question to all you golfers out there..............  how can you hit the ball the furthest, be the only one to hit the fairway, and not win the longest drive ?? I shall ashamably tell you. It was me, and I played an "air shot" with my first attempt, so the longest drive shot was deemed to be my second shot, although it was the first time I had stuck the ball !! Never mind there is always next time.

The next  round is at ALICE SPRINGS (no not the one in australia!) in two weeks time.
